Water Demonstration of the Coriolis Effect
On our honeymoon, we will experience first-hand the Coriolis Effect on each side of the equator line. We will learn all about this force and will witness water demonstrations from our knowledgeable guide.
Contribution towards Our Excursion outside of the Club
We will embark on an exciting excursion outside of the club. We will choose from the Sweetwaters, Aberdares and Samburu adventures, to the Solio excursion, Mountain Hiking or a short drive to the slopes of the mountain.
Horseback Riding up the Slopes of Mount Kenya
We will enjoy an early morning ride and breakfast on the slopes of Mount Kenya. We will be picked up by our horses in front of our room and ride up the slopes on Mount Kenya. Next, we will enjoy a breakfast including champagne and smoked salmon while facing the snow capped peaks.

Aptly named after the ‘love nest’ of the first owners of the club, the stunning suite is fashioned with a luxurious five-piece en suite bathroom, a spacious lounge with a beautiful stone fire place and a private terrace overlooking the garden and Mount Kenya. Additional amenity includes a separate vanity room adjacent to the bedroom.

With the wing built in the year 1937, the historic and stunning 8 suites with an amazing courtyard view and a patio are a favorite. In 2008 these room were renovated with plush, deep velour carpeting and a spacious 3- piece bathroom. Our suite includes HSIA, in room digital safe, reading desk, luggage rack, a king size bed and stunning courtyard views.

Your thoughtful wedding gift will help provide us with an amazing honeymoon stay! Riverfront Deluxe Tents have a four-poster, king size bed, a three-piece ensuite bathroom with hot water and power, as well as an outdoor shower. There is even a deck where we can sit back and relax while admiring beautiful views of the Mara River.

Facing the snow-capped Mount Kenya and overlooking the property's beautifully manicured grounds, this signature restaurant boasts a menu abounding with the incredible variety of foods that are farmed in central Kenya. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, this elegant setting features terrace and indoor dinning around the original grand fireplace. Breakfast and lunch are served as a buffet offering the best of what Kenya has to offer while dinner is served as a four course set menu with vegetarian options. Tusks Restaurant offers fantastic views of Mount Kenya’s forest and snow capped peaks. In the evening, the original fire place will provide a warm and cozy atmosphere for us.

Zebar features large windows overlooking the gardens, the snow covered peaks of Mount Kenya and beyond. In addition to offering a relaxed lounge atmosphere, Zebar, resting on the equator, is one of the few places in the world where our server will have to cross from the southern to the northern hemisphere to retrieve our order. The menu includes choice of liqueurs, beers, soft drinks, cocktails, wines, spirits, tea and coffee, as well as a bar snacks.

Set around a wood-burning fireplace, this cozy private dining location is accented with a collection of photographs that feature actors and movie casts from yesteryear. The room has a working fire place, a private terrace and spectacular views of Mount Kenya.

Located in the main building, the dining room is hewn out of wood beams and glass, allowing natural light to filter in to the high-ceilinged, spacious room. Evenings are cozy in the softly lit area. The menu is a cosmopolitan combination of European, African and Asian dishes made from the abundance of fresh Kenyan produce. Both breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, while dinner is Table D'Hôte, with a choice of a main course.

Sectioned off to create private seating areas, the décor of the Lounge has a definitely African flavor, with woven wall hangings and Masai artifacts. An extended veranda adjoins the lounge to afford superb views of the Mara River. A fire is lit each evening for us to enjoy. This area is the venue for the Masai Dancers, slide shows and lectures and serves liqueurs, beers, soft drinks, cocktails, wines, spirits, tea and coffee.

Located at the swimming pool, the Pool Bar is a shaded area with bar stools set around the curved structure. Also just off the bar buffet lunches are served and a barbecue pit is located close to the bar. Liqueurs, beers, soft drinks, wines, spirits, cocktails, tea and coffee, as well as light snacks and outdoor lunches are served here.
